There are 4 comfortable bedrooms and a family flat, all individually furnished to a comfortable standard. The four rooms are all ensuite with bath and shower and we provide big fluffy towels and quality toiletries.The beds have pocket sprung mattresses (the best mattresses in the world) and all the rooms are equipped with flat screen LCD televisions, Roberts’s clock radios, hairdryers and complimentary hospitality trays. There is also a three-bedroom apartment (three bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom) available within the building. This can be perfect for families with children who can safely leave the children “at home” in the apartment while descending to the restaurant for a pleasant evening there without worry.
THE CHAPEL ROOM
This small double room features a king-size (5ft) antique bed, and the dressing table and bedside cabinets are all Venetian mirrored glass.The window affords a view up the Abergwesen Valley to the base of the Cambrian Mountains. It also overlooks the Calvinistic Methodist Chapel dating from1808.
The small bathroom has a bath with power-shower over, w.c. and wash basin. The room is equipped with flat screen LCD television, Roberts’s clock radio, hairdryer and complimentary hospitality tray.
THE BRIDGE ROOM
This very popular twin-aspect room overlooks both the Chapel and the river Irfon and is equipped with a superking (6ft) zip link bed which can be made up as a double or twin, with dark padded-leather headboards and dressing table.There is a comfortable sofa where you can sit and watch the river running by.
The good-sized bathroom is furnished with bath with power-shower over, w.c. and wash basin. The room is equipped with flat screen LCD television, Roberts’s clock radio, hairdryer and complimentary hospitality tray.
THE ORIENTAL ROOM
This large room sits to the side of the property and affords no view to speak of (!), however, the size of the room more than makes up for the lack of any outlook.It is furnished with a suite of antique Chinoiserie lacquer furniture, and the bed is a superking (6ft) zip link set which can be made up as a double or twin.
This room also features a comfortable sitting area with a large sofa and coffee table, and the wall-mounted LCD TV can be repositioned as you wish to view comfortably from the bed or from the sofa. There is of course a generous bathroom with large bath with power-shower over, w.c. and wash basin. The room is also equipped with Roberts’s clock radio, hairdryer and complimentary hospitality tray.
THE IRFON ROOM
This is a very comfortable single room with an excellent aspect overlooking the River Irfon.It is furnished with a leather bed (single), modern dressing table/desk, wardrobe and a generous bathroom with bath, power-shower etc., all fitted to the same high standard as the rest of the rooms.
The room is equipped with flat screen LCD television, Roberts’s clock radio, hairdryer and complimentary hospitality tray.
THE APARTMENT
The self-contained apartment features a double bedroom,a twin bedded room and a single bedroom, a spacious sitting room, a small fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.
This apartment can be used as self catering or fully serviced accommodation, and is particularly suitable for families, allowing parents to enjoy dinner in the restaurant while the children (dependent on age, of course!) are safe upstairs watching TV, playing games, or just sleeping. There are two televisions (widescreen in the sitting room, plus one further television in the main bedroom) and a DVD player in the sitting room, plus a complimentary hospitality tray in the kitchen. Dogs are welcome at Carlton Riverside, but not in the public rooms. We do not make a charge for pets.
